Today, we focus on the fundamentals of a 'proper stance' and 'bending from the waist'.

To unleash your true potential, adopt an athletic stance—emulate the balance and speed required to strike the ball squarely. Excellent balance is a must for exceptional shots. Position yourself like athletes in perfect equilibrium: knees flexed, weight on the balls of your feet, shoulder-width apart with the driver. Maintain a slight forward angle, chin up, and relaxed arms.

Starting from this athletic position facilitates a balanced swing and unlocks consistent shotmaking—a secret to success.

Avoid a common error by ensuring your posture at address is not too upright. This prevents a swing that is too flat or reaching unnaturally with tense arms, hindering a perfect club head impact.

Practice in front of a mirror, flexing your knees slightly and maintaining a straight, forward bend from the waist. This allows your arms to hang naturally and clears ample room for a fluid swing.
